President Bert Foxx is pleased to announce that CW Anderson will defend his version of the PWF heavyweight championship this Saturday, June 28, in a re-match from May 16 against Mr. Wrestling 3 in Lumberton, NC, hosted by Ring Wars Carolina.
"With this whole situation between the unification of the PWF and WORLD-1 titles, I felt that Mr. Wrestling 3 might not have been given a fair deal due to Chris Rockwell being a part of their match.
I want to thank Ring Wars Carolina for hosting this title match and look forward to hosting a future RWC title match in PWF."
President Foxx, who announced at the end of PWF "Unification" on June 20, that CW Anderson will meet Chris Rockwell in a rematch, but this time it will be No Time Limit, No Disqualification, No Countout-There Must Be A Winner on July 11, stated that if Mr. Wrestling 3 does win the PWF Heavyweight title on June 28, the July 11 match will become a 3-Way Elimination Match!
While the PWF was trying to unify the legacies of the PWF and WORLD-1, it seems that there is a resurgence of the Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 brand.
We received an email from Jonny Kash, a representative from the dormant W-1 promotion, claimed that they will no longer be interested in unifying the PWF and WORLD-1 championships, but will sanction their champion, Chris Rockwell, to become a double champion.
ProWrestlingPWF.com will have more to this story in the coming weeks, but as of June 25, the PWF and WORLD-1 titles are separate and will remain separated. The winner of the July 11 Main Event will be a dual champion.
If you were in attendance at PWF Unification on June 20, you saw that F1rst Generation called out President Foxx to tell the fans the status of not only Andrew Everett, but the PWF tag team titles.
Foxx acknowledged that Everett sustained a horrible knee injury, but wanted to wait until Andrew Everett and his home promotion, the CWF, announced it first. But he wasn't going to let Andrews and Anthony call the shots. He said that there will be a tag team title match on July 11 and it will feature F1rst Generation vs. American Tiger and RICKY MORTON!
Also on July 11, the first Crystal Coast Openweight champion will be determined in a "Royal Rumble" style match. Already entered are Jagger, Jesse Dalton, Mr. Wrestling 3, Corey Hollis, Fabulous Frankie, Luscious Lance, Gluteus Maximus, Chip Day, Katie Taylor, and Jo Jo Dancer.
Speaking of Jo Jo Dancer, the popular star from Midway Park became the first participant for the Legacy Cup tournament on September 21. Seven more wrestlers will be announced over the next two months.
And pro-wrestling legend, Robert Gibson of the Rock 'n' Roll Express, will make a special appearance on the11th!
President Foxx is proud to announce the card for July 11.
